Naked Holster

You're welcome to use what you like, but I believe these types of holsters are horrible ideas.

If you want kydex, GCode and BlackPoint Tactical have been good.

I used to believe that till my nephew, who is a Air Force Combat Controller and gets to play with all the coolest stuff first showed it to me. My brother, ex SEAL was convinced first, then the other nephew, Green Beret, and finally me. (yes that sounds like a lie but all true and stated for context because they like it a lot, hell my brother thinks it's the greatest carry 'holster' there is)

I think the difference in that one and the ones before is it's printed and what it's printed with. There's only one way it's coming off and that's to pull it directly out. There's a learning curve to putting it on, but if you follow the rules, you'd be surprised how convenient it becomes. You can wear it with anything and it disappears. First time I saw it he pulled it out of freaking gym shorts. I forget I have it on.

I have yet to find an appendix holster that is comfortable.

So I've been using an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 and carry strong side at 10 oclock position (I'm left handed)

I see Vedder Light Tuck is popular. Those who use it, what do you like about it? How is it different from the other kydex appendix holsters?

I think I have 3 Kydex holsters for appendix carry. None are more comfortable than the other. I do put a pad at the muzzle side, but that'more to push the grip in to print less. I just got used to it. Biggest factor for me is the belt. I use a ratcheting belt (next belt) and put the buckle off to the side. Quickly loosen if I'm sitting in a position that gets a bit uncomfortable. Quick tighten when I get back up.

I like the clip on it. Metal and allows you to easily tuck your shirt in around it. Retention is really good as well. Probably not much different than other kydex holsters but I didn't try many others before landing on this one so I can't compare. Ive also been carrying the same gun in the same holster since 2019 so my memory is fuzzy on the others. I do remember that some had plastic belt clips that I really didn't like.
