Dude, $75 for a long sleeve dry fit shirt??? WTF?

I'm a kayak fisherman and have fished all day long. You have to stay covered. Not to mention the gnats when they're bad in the marsh.

A lot of that Magellan shite is comfortable and reasonably priced.

Now that I’m in my 40s and I burn like cheap bacon I’ll go for full coverageUnless I’m planning to get in the water

Bought a Diawa reel which the old lady don’t know about and took advantage of the hooded sun shirt offer.

Gotta look for deals. I've got the same shirt lefty posted but didn't pay that much, aftco had them on sale and had a $10 off coupon. Worth the money though with the included hood and face mask. The "geocool" feature helps keep things comfortable too.

Nothing. I fish in the nude. Keeps all the potlickers off my spots and I've got zero tan lines. Green jeans doesn't ever check me either.

Long sleeve. Bass pro had world wide sportsman stretchy drifit style shirts a few years ago that I have a few of. Otherwise I bought some knockoff shirts from Koofin on Amazon that work well. When I’m in the yak I get dirty. No point wearing something nice.

I guess I’ve been lucky so far. I’m dark skinned and get deeply tanned. Gonna be 65 in November and have been baking n the sun a long time. I love the sun beating down on me. Drink lots of water.

I know the type. That’s not me. I’m trying to avoid melanoma or I’d be dressed as you described like I used to always be. I’m at the age now that my dad first battled skin cancer. I’m just looking for performance shirts that don’t look like I’m attending a Ville Platte wedding.

I totally agree. Are you fishing or in a fashion show? Good grief.

I just bought a bunch of Aftco sun shirts...long sleeve and not too expensive. They are awesome.

Use code TRF and you get 15% off. He is a YouTube guy I follow.

With some gym shorts and my disgusting fishing shoes. What makes them my fishing shoes is they are too disgusting to wear for anything else. They are also my grass cutting shoes.

Before age 50 it was shorts and a t-shirt. Since then skin cancer and pre-cancer spots being cut off on a regular basis moved me into high UPF long sleeve shirts and long pants. Baleaf and Magellan make some good stuff which is not crazy expensive. Lots of other good names out there which vary from reasonable to expensive like AFTCO, Simms, Columbia and Coolibar.

I have shirts/pants from all these brands and the Baleaf and Magellan work as well for me as the high end. The more expensive brands are made a little better, but for sun protection I really can't tell much difference. Prefer to fish in shorts and a t-shirt, but the UPF stuff and good sunscreen will hopefully keep me out of the Dermatologist office!
