Looking at these 2 generators wen is around 500.00. The predator at 800. Will use for emergencies at home and likely some rv camping. If anyone has any comparative input I’d appreciate it. Happy New Year!!!

Not really compared but several buddies from work swear by those predators even comparing them to Hondas that are way more.

I have a Wen 4000 watt, and it has been flawless. Going on 3 years with it now. From my understanding, most of the components for generators not named Honda area made but the same companies

Don't have a comparison but a buddy of mine has had the Wen for a few years now and he loves it.

Most of these generators and most small motors an anything coming from asia these days is a honda clones, you can drop honda parts in them or the clone parts in a real honda motor. I wouldn't worry about the motor side but look in to the electrical side to see if it gives you what you need and if it is reliable/repairable. The motor will be.

Another vote for the wen, I don’t have that model but the one I have has been flawless, at a fraction price of the cost of Honda, and a few hundred less than predator

I have the Wen, haven’t used it much but it has performed well & has great features. I also have Wen’s 40V chain saw and blower and am very pleased with them.

Another vote for WEN. I've had 0 issues with mine in over 5 years
