Weekend Fishing Results?

Got skunked Thursday in Delaroix. Usual trout spot hasn't produced last two trips. Waiting for the fall trout run . Will be my first, heard it is amazing.

Fished a fruit jar on Cross. Way too hot to be on the lake, caught a hammer though. 8.1 lbs.

Got our 3 man limit of reds in vermillion bay on northwest side yesterday. We also caught a drum that had to weigh close to 40lbs and a shite ton of gar (first time we caught so many there. I'm guessing they are getting pushed down from Henderson ??

neighbor took his kayak to Delacroix Saturday and ended up with one red...
took the girls out to Verret Sunday...left the bass boat and used a party barge...caught catfish...bream...goo...lake runners...ran back to the camp from the storms...drank beer and watched the golf tournament...

Fished a river here in OK on Friday and between my buddy and me we caught 62. 40 spots, 15 smallies and 7 or so largemouth. Almost all on topwater - we had a blast. Big fish was a fat 16.5" smallie.
Saturday went and fished Lake Hefner in OKC and caught 32 between 3 of us. Probably 20 white bass and the rest largemouth. Very good weekend.
Here are the keepers from the weekend. In OK, all black bass have to be 14" or longer:

I fished with a friend around Cameron Saturday night. Caught 2 limits of specks and a limit of reds.

Darrel and Freddy. Good dudes. My boat had our limit in 2-3 hours after an hour or so of looking for where they were holding up. The other boat had more guys but not as many shooters

Looks like you were out in Grand Isle fishing the CCA rodeo Saturday. Was in the same rodeo. We fished hard for snapper, they just weren't having it. Went east almost all the way to Venice. Only managed about 8-10 snapper. We only put 3 in the box. Our 8.2# snapper won the division. That was how bad it was.

We did ok in cocodrie. 20 specks Saturday. We thought we were gonna get stormed on. It was all around us then broke up. Took us a little while to find them, but we found some.
Sunday we caught 15 in about an hour, but had to leave them biting cause one of the guys had work. I have never seen so many lady fish. They were a nuisance. Every other cast I was catching or foul hooking a lady fish. We also threw a ton of undersized specks back that morning and a few catfish.

Same here, 25 on Saturday, 5 on Sunday. And some hammer lady fish. Weather made the wind pick up very quickly.

Was only one short of my redfish limit (I caught none) but I caught and released about 5 limits of trout (25). Florida panhandle and the first time I've gotten into trout so I just didn't bother with the ice chest. They were hanging around the mouth of the bay, ambushing what ever the tide moved out. Plastic shrimp were the ticket, plastic minnnows OK, gold spoons nothing but Spanish.
