Anyone have to go to a wedding during fricking hunting season? I can’t imagine why anyone would plan one in November if all of their friends were diehard hunters

Mine asked me to ATTEND one the first weekend of bow season! Apparently “hahahahahahaha” is not the appropriate response. And that’s how the fight started....

There are other things in life besides hunting.

I bet your fat arse would bitch if it was in June because "it's so hot".

Suck it up buttercup. Smart guys know if you just go, stay quiet and drink a few beers the after naked rodeo is awesome.

Good job.

Here is where a lot of baws mess up when in a new relationship. When they first start dating the girl they miss opening day for weddings and shite. You can't get a woman used to behavior (in a new relationshil) that you dont want to be doing 5 years from now. I'm 2 years in to this one and I'm expected to disappear during deer season.

This is so spot on advice I give my buddies all the time. Don’t compromise at the beginning and expect it to be different down the line. Set the expectation early.

So for SEC football fans that live in the south, when would you guys suggest a wedding?

I’ll miss a weekend of hunting or fishing before I ever would go to a summer wedding. Summer outdoor weddings are the worst. Then you have football season, then you have hunting season. Spring is turkey season for me.

So the only weddings I go to I guess should be early March? After deer season and before turkey and March madness?

You have to set the precedent from the beginning.

There are only like 75 days a year that I'm hunting. She has about 200 other than that. I think I'm being generous.

Quick math: 75+200=275. Average 365 days a year. Where the hell did the other 90 go?

I’m getting married January 18 2019, in the middle of hunting season. Why? Because my swamp arse is uncontrollable during a “cool” day, can’t imagine what it’d be like during a summer day in a suit. Missed my wife’s birthday last year cause I was hunting out of town. Take some and give some. Know when to fight and when to just let it go!

I have to attend a wedding on the 10th. The family does not hunt.
I have missed one of my cousin's weddings because it was the rifle opener.
I missed today for an hoa meeting, that everyone else forgot about. That pisses my off way more.

I have to go to a funeral Saturday for a guy who loved to watch college football. His family couldn't care less, but loves NFL. Will miss some of the UGA vs UK game, but I'm gonna be watching the LSU game for sure.

My funeral/potential wedding won't be during hunting season or on a Saturday during the fall.
