Its true...hawgs are most definitely squealers when makin' bacon.....

My BIL and SIL live in a doublewide and they both go about 2fiddy.....when they are bumping uglies you can hear 'em down the street and the trailer acts like a guitars sound box.....hogs make a lot of noise when bumping uglies....

Killed my first hog after hearing that racket.
Wasn't sure what it was but sounded like a kid/baby screaming.

Had a friend with me and we walked toward the noise and ended up having a good sized sow come charging at us.

We dropped her and thought that was the coolest thing. Adrenalin was pumping.

Anyway, don't chase hogs anymore. I pretty much hunt west Texas now and where I am at they are few and far between.

Anyway, not to derail too much. No Black Panther's. However, there are Cougar's, the 4 legged kind, that are around here is SW LA. And of course west Texas, although I have NEVER seen one. I did once see tracks and we also have the typical drunk at the camp that swears one came walking right by him one morning..... Cougar, not Panther.

That screaming woman at night is a bobcat....damned things will make an atheist question their path in life.

When I was a kid the family that lived next to my grandparents had a son that was crazy about animals. He had two bobcats he kept in about a 20×20 cage. The first time I spent the night with the grandparents and heard those bobcats I about wet the bed. That was in the city limits too. Different times.

the Mississippi Whitetails group has quite a few folks who take it personally when you tell them that their best friend's alcoholic great uncle is full of shite and has never seen one.

You sure that’s not some NELA group? Because I’ve been stopped just short of getting my arse jumped by a bunch of mouth breathers for accusing drunk arse great uncle of lying.

I've been banned from the Louisiana deer hunting group. I posted pictures of a trash bag of survey flagging I had pulled down.

My old man used to trap and he said if mink weighed 40 pounds it wouldn't be safe to go outside

100 percent. It’s one of the only weird things I’m into haha. I just find it fascinating. So many people who have similar accounts across the country carried over a long period of time.

I have seen a couple of mountain lions in New Mexico....coolest thing ever almost...but I was walking to my truck one evening about dusk dark and one them walked very casually across one corner of the parking lot...it wasn't paying me any attention at all but when I saw it I stopped VERY quickly...and its head snatched around and it was staring hard at me...ears laid back....tail stock still...and the damned thing pick up the farthest front paw from me like a house cat does when stalking something....slowly and methdocially...and then it stopped, looked away and sauntered off like he owned the place....which he did....very neat experience other than I still think that thing wasn't automatically certain I wasn't on the menu for that evenings dining enjoyment

I mentioned this at work the next day and the state was called. They came out and verified that there were indeed tracks and scat about and there was a sizeable "herd" of mule deer less than a mile from the site at a tank that was full and that was why the cat was that close to the plant most likely...it was seen several times over the next couple of weeks in the area...to the point that security drove through the parking lot at dusk to make certain they could see it eat someone if it decided to....

believe there is an MVP problem with them that you should not ignore.

Squatch knows to walk behind trail cameras to avoid detection.

They have a gland in their inner ear that lets them detect electronics. If folks would use an old 35 milometer camera with a trip wire they might get some pics.

guy i work with is a BIG squach guy.

Yet not a single dead animal or legitimately recognized DNA samples. Like someone else said, if they were real we would see an organization pop up claiming how humans need to donate to protect the species, or yada yada Climate Change.

I will watch that video just for shites and giggles when I get the time.

Quite literally one of the biggest threats to every single endangered North American land mammal is auto accidents. Yet no squatch or Deep South black panther has ever been hit by a car. Case closed.

So if I run over a squatch the government steps in and I disappear? To what end?

One of our vendors is a big squatch guy. I get really in to it and my wife's family thinks I actually believe. I usually get bigfoot related gifts around Christmas. Whenever I go on week or two week hunts I tell them I'm going investigate bigfoot sightings. They already think I'm crazy so it isn't a stretch for them to believe I'm a bigfoot hunter.
