One of my buddies cooked some up and I tried it. Wasn't bad.

I've had it. Would definitely eat it again.

I'll try just about any wild animal once, but there's something about the idea of eating carnivorous mammals that turns my stomach a bit.
I know Steve Rinella will eat anything with a nose and an a-hole, but coyote and bobcat is just a bridge too far for me

It wasn't on Meat Eater. Big thing is knowing how to cook all of it.
I got to try a lot of stuff while stationed in AK many years ago.

Ive eaten a bobcat sauce picaunte. The meat was very white and it didnt have any gamey flavor. Was a tab but stringy. My buddy that made it said he prefers it to rabbit.

Was TDY to the Philippines and had to stay off base at a hotel for about 5 weeks. Dog wasn't on the hotel menu, but I saw one guy cooking one for himself.
Didn't see any stray animals there.

How’d they cook it? Put just about any meat in a stew or crockpot for long enough and with the right sauce/ spices it should be good enough for a sandwich.

Braised it I believe then put it in a pot over night.
