Home Run Charters

Had a coworker confirm a trip 2 weeks before the planned date and they said all good. Called to confirm the night before and they said they didn't have them down. They had to find another charter for the next day.

I'd recommend Mexican Gulf. They were catching big tuna right next to us when our boat was catching nothing. Went home with one 20lb tuna only bc we found a whale shark. That was a long 90 miles back to Venice.

Mexican gulf is great however this thread is incomplete IMO without mention of Eddie Burger.

I would add Hunter Caballero to it as well.

Honestly 95% of the charters down there are good to go. Not many that can't put you on fish if they're biting.

Relentless
Intensity
Voodoo
Eddie burger
Home Run
MGFC
Paradise outfitters

Just to name a few

All those baws can suck my taint... Caught them on some private land of mine during duck season off of Baptiste numerous times running up birds smack in the middle of prime hunting hours...

Frick the dudes from home run charters

One morning down on pass a loutre WMA, we shot our 3 man rather quick and they were waiting for us to leave...had the big offshore boat with two gtr rigs they towed down...asked us if we did anything i said it was ok...they proceeded to go back there with i assume customers..which I’m pretty sure is illegal.

Next morning we got there early to make sure we got the spot...we got there and the blind we built was fine but they left a shite ton of trash and garbage everywhere...went looking for a bird and saw where they hunted another spot and same thing trash everywhere...

ever since then i have zero respect for someone who trashes our wetlands where we hunt..screw those guys.

Edit: anyone but them lol Pittman is jam up, so is mgfc, also josh with intensity.

I feel you dude. After the third time I caught his arse on my land I told that motherfricker I was gonna nucklecheck his arse back at Cypress Cove if I ever caught any of them on my land again... Some people just don’t have respect and it’s a damn shame what this world has come to when you have to threaten a baw for him to finally get the message...

I have been on a boat with a captain out of venice and while heading down the Mississippi river they just chunked their trash right into the water like it was nothing

Hey this is john from home run charters. I would like to know who you caught on your land from my company because we have our own lease in Venice. We do not hunt anywhere else but the leases we have. Also we haven’t ran into anyone at cypress because we do not go over there durning hunting season.

This is john from home run charters. I would like to know when you ran into us on the WMA becuase we do not hunt it. We have our own leases in Venice and we do not guide off of them. Our boat was never down river towing two gator tails.

not tryng to get in a pissin match but several years ago maybe 2016 season I definitely saw the boat and maybe it was being used for personal reasons and not charters. your boat has a wrap on it doesn't it? I'm just stating what I saw.

So do the majority of charter boats down there, and honestly a lot of them resemble each other.

I remember the boat..and the charter name on the side in big letters...I was just telling what we saw and the next day the trash left behind from them.

if it wasn't them, then my bad but I clearly remember the name on the side of the boat... hopefully they will treat the area with more respect next time.
