I do not own a Land Cruiser but my brother is on his second one in 10 years.

The first one flipped 5 times and landed on the roof a few years ago. My brother, SIL and nephew (2yrs old in a carseat) walked away without a scratch. From then on he vowed to always have Land Cruisers.

He has never had a problem out of the Land Cruiser. His current model is a 2000 with navi and all that shite, absolutely zero work needed outside of regular maintenance.

Great vehicles that last. If I didnt have the need for a truck bed, I would definately have one.

I have an 03 Tacoma very similar to that with 153k miles. Only problem I've had was the catalytic converter crapped out on me. Other than that no issues. Runs like a champ

Too bad they stopped importing Land Cruiser trucks into the States years ago.

I had two that both went to 150k, and put them through more abuse then 99.5% of people. Nothing major happened at all, just normal maintenance. If I can't break something, then it is extremely well built

You can probably get that 98 4Runner from KR for about $1,000. It would last another hundred thousand miles with a little maintenance, and you would have $9,000 in your pocket. If your going high mileage, no question but to go Toyota.

What's a rebuilt title? Same as a reconstructed title? Was totaled and repaired?

So if I just need the truck to last a couple of more years, how high in miles would y'all go on a Tacoma?
