Anyone using Nada boat guide value effectively to drive down a listing price on Facebook? Is Nada even a guide to pricing anymore with the inflated market?

Seller has it listed almost double the "average retail" price. In reality he has it listed for $26k and I'd buy under $20k

Depends how old the boat is. If it is less than 10 years old then you can still finance but the bank won’t finance what he is asking so you could use that to talk him down. Banks finance 115-120% of trade in value according to nada but I think you have to have the subscription version to get the trade in value

Not really.

The market has gone crazy on boats. Similar to trucks, the price of new has gone through the roof and the used market has followed.

Older hull. Around 2000. I'd be buying mostly cash and take out a small loan through Light stream.

Good play. Bought my boat a couple of years ago and used a small three-year Lightstream loan. Will be paid off in one more year.... and the boat is already worth well more than I paid for it in early 2020.

I don't think you're getting anything near blue book pricing. Unless it's a total dump.

Yeah i was getting that feeling. Boat looks in good shape and he has dressed up the top of the console with the black acrylic paneling. New elecronic gauges (Fuel and Tach), nice stereo control, new power pole, etc...

The outboard is a bit older (2006 Yammy 4stroke) and I dont care for the choice in trolling motor (Rhodan) but other than that it appears in very good condition

I'd sell my boat for NADA in a 1/2 second. NADA is nearly double what I paid for it... I ordered it in 2020 as a 2020 and ended up getting a 2021 with supply chain issues.

That may be in the couple year period with some exhaust manifold corrosion issues. My mechanic warned me of this, and I know a few Yammy and Suzi owners with the issue. It happened in both makes I think from 2004-2006. Just be careful.
