What caused it to go down so quickly? I fished there a bit when I was in school there in the late 90's/early 00's, and didn't think it was anything special.

Water quality and silt. These lakes need to be dredged again, but this won't happen anytime soon.

What ever is comfortable, it doesn't bother me at all. If I'm tuna fishing and one arm gets tired, I'll switch it to the other side

I still don't see this as right. Are you guys telling me you can control the rod better with the arm that isn't your dominant one?

Cuz I feel goofy trying to pull a big fish from cover with my left arm. (I'm right handed)

But turning the reel is easy with either.

Ain't no cover where I'm using a spinning reel.

Switch what? Do you cast a spinning rod with your left hand? If you're left handed, disregard.

I constantly switch between my baitcast and spinning reels, so why would I want to use a different hand every time. I'm pretty sure I used to reel with my right, but changed when I started to fish more often.

Not sure where that is, so I'm guessing that's a no.

Powpow is always right. I been reeling a spinning reel with my right hand all my life. And I'm right handed. It just feels comfortable.

Lots of things do when you've done it so long. It's still objectively wrong.
