They did a lot of stocking in the 90's. They need to dredge the lake. It is very shallow. The grass seemed to take over the main lake at one time also.

No doubt if they would dredge it would be a great start, they would not need to do the entire lake to make it better,Would also help if they would raise and maintain the level a foot or so.

Im right handed. Cast with right reel with left. That way I have my right arm doing on the work. Left hand reels fine. This is how its supposed to work. Don't have to switch the rod to the other hand.
