Tracking number says they left it at the front door.
Somehow they changed the delivery address from St. George Airline hwy Brookstown Airline hwy.

So what is your recourse in a situation like this?

Few weeks back I had an ammo package with adult signature delivery confirmation never arrive. My mother in law is here every day watching my kid, and swears nobody ever showed up that day. I notified the sender (I think it was Brownells), and they guy politely told me to give it a few days. Reluctantly I did, and lo and behold about 3 days later a sweet little old lady down the street called me and said she'd gotten a package and signed for it, but wasn't her address. Got lucky I guess.

UPS ganked ammo I bought from Midway USA a few months ago.
Driver tagged it as undeliverable and then it disappeared. Prior to that, a driver tagged a different shipment as undeliverable and then I had ti drive to CVS to pick it up the next day. That time the driver was too lazy to deliver the rest if the load, so he coded out the van as undeliverable.
I tried for weeks to get someone on the phone to make some appropriate changes but they didn't seem to care.

Know. A friend in the shoe game, orders stuff from Nike, boxes are marked... shoes get stolen non stop. Hub centers, drivers, they are all thieves

I bought shipping insurance, so that should cover my costs. Not going to replace the bullets.

quote:Same. After a month or so, UPS refunded me. By then ammo was double what it cost when I purchased.

I'm a bit leery of buying ammo online right now; a case of 9mm is now over $600 minimum, and required to be clearly marked for the world to see.
I haven't had anything taken, but when I WAS still buying up ammo, my shipments got later and later, and a couple of times they tried to not deliver (said I wasn't home). Wanted to leave it at some dive dropoff. Luckily for me, I was tracking it online at the time, immediately called UPS, and got it delivered the next day.
I wouldn't do any ammo without insurance nowadays, not in the BR area.

Had a shipment from Remington tampered with just this week.
Someone cut open the box, stole two boxes of shells and partially resealed the package.
To their credit, Remington had another shipment to replace it within two days, but this is a nationwide problem right now.

Had a buddy that had like 5000 primers coming in. Where ever he purchased them from shipped them in a Glock pistol box. The box showed up at his house empty and taped back up.

Every time I order Ammo which is a couple of times a month it is either delayed or delivered to a neighbors house.
Also the package is always beat up.
Sure does seem odd. ..

quote:Always pay with a credit card, not a debit card. If you don't get your stuff, contact the vendor for a refund, if they play games, contact your CC company and file a dispute. You'll get your money put right back on your card and the CC company will contact the vendor. They won't have proof of delivery, so at that point it's over.
