I’ve battled fox, coons, possums , rats, hawks, and dogs over my chickens. I want nothing to do with a mink. I know nothing about them. Are they only near water?

Mine is just made out of left over plywood from my camp rebuild. Had a shite load of hawks pass thru during the spring, just put a net over the top to let the new chickens run around freely.
My original chickens (4 Australorps) went thru snakes as chicks, fought a hawk and lived thru some coyotes. Was cool as hell...Mink got them this weekend, shits personal now.

I'm down to 2 Australorps. They woke me up the other night and I like you was chasing a coon across yard into front yard with only my boxers, and a spot light on. Gut shot the bastard with my pellet gun.

Trap was still open as of 05:30 with 0 dead chickens which I would say was a win for the night
