put a newspaper inside. I always put news paper at the bottom of my cooler after i rinse it out. it will absorb all the smell and you just leave it inside until the next time you use the cooler. It has completely removed some nasty smells from my coolers.

Try a scrubbing it with vinegar
Let dry, squeeze a Lemon in their, scrub with that.
Let dry, sprinkle coffee grounds, let sit for a while.

Tried vinegar already. If the baking soda and water doesn’t work I’ll try the vinegar again with lemon and coffee.

Last year, the power tripped at my camp for about 2 weeks in the summer. The only thing in the fridge was a pack of chicken gizzards. The vinegar definitely helped, but what finally did the trick was the coffee grounds.

Make a paste of backing soda and white vinager . Apply to inside walls let sit for a day. Guaranteed to work
