My buddy and I planned a trip in Feb with pretty muddy water and warm temps. I made up a few that were basically Texas craw with a little orange added. 1 tab black, 1 tab green pumpkin, 1/2 tab chartreuse and 1/2 a tab bright orange. Put them on a 5/8 oz spinnerbait with 2 # 5 Colorado blades, silver over gold and whacked them that day. Used a green pumpkin with orange belly 6" craw as a trailer. Also made a few jigs up same color and my buddy got a 6 1/2 on it.

We sell this color very well and I had a guy special order some with some orange in the skirt. I also put orange eyes in his baits. They were bad arse..

Sorry I meant strike king texas craw. Looks like they may have added some glitter but I haven't bought any in a long time.

I've kept pink trick worms in the tackle box since the 80's. When the bass aren't hitting anything else, and I'm ready to give up for the day, I'll always give the pink weightless trick worm a cast.

I don't know why but I have more luck with the hot pink / copper spinner rooster tails than anything else.

I've made a blue, white and brown skirt with a white and a blue Colorado blade that smoked them until I lost my last one. I need to make some more but haven't fished in over a year.
