I lost my last one 8 years ago. My paw paw. He was a WWII marine. When people say they don't make them like that anymore they ain't lying. Miss him every single day, he was without a doubt my best friend.

Amen! Technically she was my wife's grandma but after 30 years she had adopted me and introduced me as her grandson. My grandpa was in WWII as well

His German luger is with my uncle and when he passes I am in line to get it. We used to shoot it as kids when we would visit him in AR. Pretty cool!

I'm lucky enough to be living in his house. I'm very fortunate that he gave it to me. I'm the last of 11 grandkids. I was the baby. I thank my lucky Stars everyday that he was my paw paw.
