Why are these so hard to find? Really want a Tube Fed Bolt Action 22 rifle. Marlin lists the XT-22TR on their site but everywhere that lists them says sold out or unavailable. Any other models out there? My second choice is a lever action but I'd rather try to find one of these first.

I have a Henry in 22WMR that I love. I just think lever guns look funny scoped.

You'll have to buy used, which is a pretty good market. Theres some good ones that pop up occasionally.

Otherwise, sorry dude. You're stuck with a shitty clip that sticks out the bottom and hangs up on everything.

Why the hell is it so hard for everyone besides ruger and browning to make a damn flush .22 clip????

And, that's the reason why I want tube fed. Well, that and not wanting to have to keep up with another mag.

I inherited a Remington made in the late 50s; it was my wife's grandfathers. It's rough looking but accurate as hell......open sights.

My Nylon 66 has been rocking and rolling since my dad bought it as a kid. Try and find one of those

Weird. I just got one a few weeks ago that was my wife's grandfather's gun. Remington from around the same time. My FIL refinished the gun for my son, who's still a little young for it. He did a great job.

Why does it have to be tube fed? I feel like a used bolt with a magazine could be had within going to 3 pawn shops

I take it to the range about once a year and run a couple of tubes thru it.....this is the perfect squirrel gun.

I just picked up a Marlin and a Winchester tube fed in the last month baw.

Hit the pawn shops. There are plenty of them out there.

Because, most mag fed 22's do not have flush mounted mags so.
- they hang up on everything.
- poke you in the back while carrying on your shoulder.
- add one more thing to have to keep up with.
- usually hold less rounds than a tube fed 22.

I have a 1930s Remington tube fed bolt 22. It shoots and feeds nice, it feeds the shorts way better than the semi. Only problem is the scope base fits a .75 tube. Needs drilling and tapping if I ever want a decent scope on it.

Check the used market.
