Your porch is part of your home. How about placing all of your guns on the porch before you leave for work and then post your address on the OT

Was your truck broken into or left unlocked? Either way, this is an example of irresponsible gun ownership.

For a "truck gun," I suggest going full size instead of compact. Mine is a Canik TP9SF. Mine has been reliable. They gone up some in price since I bought mine, but still very reasonably priced. It's striker fired, but the trigger is said to be one of the striker fired triggers. Mine breaks very cleanly at 4.5#.They normally come w/ a number of accessories, as well. My Canik is probably the most accurate handgun I own.

I’d be sick if I had an HK stolen. Take the truck, leave the gun.

I never mentioned the "castle doctrine" in my posts. In my state, you are allowed to have anything in your vehicle that you can legally have in your house. That is the meaning of "an extension of your home" in this case. I always keep a rifle and a pistol in my vehicle, and I rarely lock the doors. It's because of convenience. It's my right, and I'll be damned if I will give up one ounce of freedom or convenience for criminals and dumbasses.

You may find yourself giving up rifles and pistols instead of freedom and convenience.

You definitely have a right to be a dumbass.

Maybe I don't live in a shithole like you, where I have to lock my doors to feel safe.

That's funny, I don't lock my doors either - except the door to the safe.

I just don't live in a shithole like you where I have to carry a gun with me everywhere I go to feel safe.

The new Ruger Security 9 (I think its called felt very similar to an SR9c when I looked at one in the shop.

I do a lot of times as well, as is our right.

This is not really that smart, though it is also your right to do so

Sorry. I’m not calling you stupid but this is the stupidest argument I’ve ever heard.

People who act like this should be charged with negligence when their firearms are stolen and used in felony crimes.
Hey look I’m not trying to take away your “right” to make dumb decisions, I just think those dumb decisions should have consequences and not only for the victims of any crimes committed with “your” firearms that you were too ‘Merica to use a little common sense because you probably thought the liberals would win or something.

No one said that. There would certainly be enough blame for all involved.
What’s liberal BS is shifting the focus onto something that was never mentioned when logic and reason is making more sense than some of you.

Just buy a Hi Point so you won’t be mad when it goes missing. It’s why I buy cheap pocketknives

I think you and I had this exchange recently in another thread. I own two Caniks and love them. My home defense and carry pistols are both Canik. If you have to get just one pistol, The SC elite is a marvelous trigger and works as a carry or home gun.
