Anyone shot these? Have an Sbe3 and stoeger in 12g as my back up duck gun. Have a dedicated 20g turkey gun. Want to get a synthetic stock 20g to use in the timber and also to have my wife and kid shoot more comfortably.

Not looking to absolutely break the bank. So Benelli is out.

My son had a youth model 20 gauge during his 8th grade year of skeet shooting. He wasn't ready for a full-size gun, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money knowing he would outgrow it quickly.

He put a BUNCH of shells through that gun that year, and it didn't miss a beat. I sold it to a friend, and his son used it for bird hunting after that.

Look at the Panzer M4.
Turkish knockoff of Benelli m4.

Most of the parts interchange w actual Benelli parts.

I have several competition and hunting shotguns. Including Benellis. Shoots great and is solid quality. Big following. Facebook has a group.
For $450 bucks, can’t go wrong.

I won one at a DU banquet. It was the camo 3.5” version. Looks damn near like a Beretta A400 which is what I thought I actually won. After doing some research on it, it is a Turkish gun. Reviews were mixed. It retails pretty cheap compared to the Big 3 B shotguns but figured what the heck I’ll try it since it was free. The gun literally jammed right out of the box and I actually cleaned and lubed it pretty damn good multiple times. I actually have a Beretta A400 as my main gun with a Benelli Vinci as my backup so I just gave it to my buddies son as a gift since he was 16 and just starting to hunt. I told him the issues and said if it is just a lemon you can do whatever with it and he had nothing but problems with it as well. Maybe it was built on a Friday at quitting time but I wouldn’t buy one if it was me.

My son has a Viper2 and it does what it was made to. I also have used and like Turkish shells. I assume it's an EU requirement but all of the shells I've gotten from there are translucent so you can see what shot you have once the ink wears off.

Bought my daughter a youth model 20 ga viper g2 a couple years back .
Took a few boxes of heavy shells through it to finally get it to cycle light loads.
Sweet little gun. Would buy it again.

Son has a left handed model. Bought 7 or 8 years ago used. He shot it for 3 or 4 duck/dove seasons with no issues. Shot skeet with also. Probably put 700-800 shells through it.

Got my son the Raptor 2. Here in Hattiesburg there is a feed store that gets all the Walmart rejects. These shotguns are like brand new and half price of Walmart. It was I a bitch to brake in but since then works great. It’s a little heavy and don’t think it like Winchester Clay loads but those suck anyway. Important take away is we have shot nothing but light loads through it.

My son shoots the Viper G2 in 20 gauge. It has been a good gun. As a previous poster noted, the instructions say to shoot two boxes of heavy loads through it to break the action in. That is necessary. It would not shoot target loads until we cycled some duck loads through it. After that, no issues with lighter loads.
