Drug dealers/growers aren't going to follow any of those regulations.
And then LDWF can confiscate the camera when they find an untagged one.

A complete ban on cameras only punishes the hunters who follow the rules.

This is so dumb. Especially trying to justify it with a reason being theft.

I've had guys check my SIM, see the pics, and then kill a buck and pose in front of my camera before. Was I annoyed? Absolutely. But again, its part of public land.

This is even dumber

I was losing my mind

unpopular opinion: Cameras and Corn ruin the hunting experience

It’s a free country, investing in good cameras and sharing them across the whole group has done more to improve our hunting experience than anything we’ve ever done.

I wish they would cut down easy access via 4 wheeler trails every 500 yds or create true management areas with antler restrictions or archery only areas before worrying about stupid cameras.

LDWF law enforcement asked for the ban because they feel individuals involved in illegal activities are using them to warn of law enforcement presence

So the same group that flies drones over your property and can go on your property without a warrant and snoop around without cause is upset that if they walk within 50' of camera someone will use that to warn others that are in the middle of doing illegal activity. Got it.

By that logic, why not ban social media cause I can't tell you how many posts I've seen from people warning others when a cop is set up on a street running radar

Should 100% be banned! Wish MS would ban them also.

Cheating, just like e-bikes should be banned on public.

It's only cheating if you're breaking the rules.

Cheating

I’ve yet to see one deer killed by a trail cam pulling the trigger. It’s just another tool to help a hunter understand deer behavior. I know people that only hunt off of trail camera pictures and don’t see shite.

Trail cameras aren't cheating. Baiting deer is cheating.

I've yet to see a corn pile that takes time off to hunt, waits patiently, takes aim, and pulls the trigger on a deer.

You don't think knowing if deer are in the area, what size deer are in the area, and what time they are in the area, isn't a little cheating?

But ultimately, humans having brains 6x larger than a deer is a little cheating too.

Corn piles attract deer to your location so you have better odds at seeing a deer to shoot at.

Also, if corn piles aren't giving you an advantage, why are you putting it there?

By your idiotic logic, putting wiretaps on coaches for an opposing football team so you can hear what the head coach and coordinators are saying in their preparation for your team isn't cheating because the players still have to play the game.
