Can someone recommend a dependable, easy to use trail camera that sends pics directly to a cell phone? I don’t need anything too elaborate - I don’t hunt, the family just wants to see pics of what’s lurking on our land. There are a couple trails that routinely have deer tracks.

Where's your land? I'll go put some of my cameras on it and send the pics to y'all. All I need is a gate key and an address.

There’s an old wooden deer stand right where most of the tracks are, but no one hunts it. It’s a little under 20 acres but lots of untouched woods surrounding most of it.

If you can get your hands on one (usually have to check early morning online), the Tactacam Reveal is amazing for the 99-119$ price point it carries

You want to lease it out and get 1/2 the meat it produces?

I have the Spypoint Micro and Moultrie XA-6000. They're both about $100 and in my opinion the Moultrie is much better than the Spypoint. The plans cost a few bucks more but the pics are much clearer and the reception is better. It also doesn't have an external antenna to worry about.

The only ting better about the Spypoint is the app is more user friendly.

I disagree, the newer model spypoints are way better now. The image resolution has improved leaps. If you are worried about reception and are in Central LA, Southern MS area, get the Verizon version of the spypoint. They end in -V . I get 95% reception on all mine outside of McComb.

I bought a Tactacam Reveal and put it out in early October. It’s been great and I would definitely recommend it. All cell phones get a terrible signal or barely work at our camp. I got the camera with the Verizon option and it has a full signal strength anywhere I have moved it to at the camp. It sends good quality pictures to the app on your phone. Keep in mind that they’re not high resolution pictures that it sends. You’ll have to get the hi res pictures directly off the SD card in the camera.
It takes 12 AA batteries (two months in and it still reads 100% battery life)
You’ll have to buy a SD card too. (Don’t get a cheap one)
You’ll also have to pay for a picture plan but there’s several options and you can pay monthly or yearly and you can start and stop the plan whenever you want.
You can also make many adjustments to the camera via the app (sensitivity, flash brightness, delay, etc)
