Tracking down AKC bloodline/breeder - Labs

Does anyone know of a way to track down an owner/breeders contact info from an AKC pedigree? I have googled pretty much all day but am not coming up with much.
I had to put my yellow lab of 13 years down recently which has pretty much crushed me, but when the time is right I would really like to get my next pup from somewhere along the same bloodline. Not really looking for an award winning champion line, she was just an amazing dog and I guess I’m hoping I’ll feel some resemblance/comfort going this route.
All I can directly find is that the breeder is listed as “Jim Austin” on her pedigree, but Facebook and Google gives me no results and I’m assuming it was a one off litter/not really a breeder. I got her at 3 months old second hand, and the person I got her from doesn’t have any information on original/parents owner either.
Closest thing I can find is several generations back and it’s Candlewood Kennels in WI. Tried searching the other names in the bloodline but can’t find much else. I sent them a message, but was really hoping to find a lead further down (more recent) the bloodline.
I know it’s a long shot, but I’ve seen crazier things tracked down on TD, so I figured it was worth a shot.

Honestly, there’s nothing g in that pedigree that you could possibly replicate. We romanticize about catching lightning in a bottle more than once and 99-100 it never happens.
Nature/Nurture, give yourself credit for raising that throw away pup into a lifetime of great memories.
Go visit multiple breeders and look at there offerings, everyone is a crap shoot but it’s the best we got.

Really sorry about your dog. I have lost a few over the decades and it is very hard to do.
I've never been a breeder but have loaned out a dog on stud a few times, and my wife's family bred retrievers years ago. So I have a little knowledge, but not a genius on this stuff. I find the personalities aren't always (maybe 50/50 chance) similar even if they are of the same sire/dam or lineage. I understand you want a relative of your loved pet and that's a reasonable wish. Don't break your back trying to find a relative of his, it might be like meeting your hero.
Again, sorry for your loss. I am a big dog guy and hate to see them get sick and be in pain.

Yeah I know yall are probably right. I guess I just thought tracking it down might keep my mind busy and give me something to do/feel better.
I guess I’m also open to recommendations for local breeders as well. I wouldn’t have a clue of where to start. Just want a healthy yellow lab female when time is right, don’t care about hunting bloodlines or anything special other than that.

Sorry to hear about your pup. Mine is turning 10 next month and showing signs of aging.
I think most of the way a dog interacts with you and your family is more on the nurture side of the nurture vs nature argument. Take your time, find tow dogs that you like and scoop up the pup that you like. I'd be willing to bet you'll be happy.

Go to huntinglabpedigree.com and search some of the dogs in that pedigree and then scroll down and click "offspring", rinse and repeat until you get down to a dog that is alive. I did it quickly for a couple dogs in that pedigree and there are some that are alive and breeding. It will be like 5th cousins to your current dog, but if you HAD to have one, that is as close as you'll get.

OP’s pedigree has no measurable standard to gauge from. Pedigrees are like a drink, you have to add some whiskey everything you add ice or eventually your only going to have water.
With each successive breeding even Lean Mac will be diluted if you don’t add more whiskey (FC/AFC/MH).
There was a west coast breeding I can’t remember names but the bitch was bred 5 times and produced over 50% FC/AFC in each litter.

Yeah I guess yall are right. Probably doesn’t make sense to focus my search on something from her pedigree. Just initially felt like it might be the right thing to do.
I’m open to recommendations of local (Louisiana or close to Louisiana) yellow lab breeders if anyone has some. Will not really be a hunting dog so I don’t care about champion bloodlines. Wanted to stick with a “traditional” yellow lab, not really looking for an “english” lab

You’re looking for a LOPY (left over puppy), call some breeders that breed hunt quality dogs that don’t use their own stud. Be honest with them, they’ll know if you don’t. Raising them in a home with children gets you extra points as does the history of your last dog.
Good Luck Baw
Pics of your wiring would absolutely sway me to sell ya a puppy :bow

Bluebonnet Pups
Got a yellow male from them. He's 11 now and is very healthy. Seems like there's lot's of life left in him, knock on keyboard.
Separating this from the above because it's a big asterisk. Samson wasn't officially a Bluebonnet Lab. The breeder's son took a stab at a litter. I knew this going in. Was a first pairing of a Bluebonnet dam and the son's sire. Don't remember if the sire was a Bluebonnet dog or not.
Anyway, Samson is one crazy SOB. Energy off the charts. Will rip your arm out of the socket on a leash. We've tried all sorts of training. Luckily we live on acreage and have a pool. Just open the door and let him do his thing.

OP- dogs are so different and wonderful, as you know. Even littermates have different personalities. Do your best on the new search and enjoy learning your new best buddy. We've had Labs in all the gender/color combos except for a chocolate male.
