1) Watching my 3 and 5 year old be all laughs as they pull in bream after bream out of a honey hole in the spillway. They could not get enough.
2) Anytime I take mom and dad fishing to retun the countless favors of them taking me. Mom's the best fisherman (woman) in the family.
3) Marshal in the Bass Master Classic in 2011. Got to watch them pull TOADS out of the Tank Pond and got to run to south Venice from Bayou Signette, and back... in the fog.
4) Won a redfish tournament after 13 tries and it happen to be the largest number of boats entered to date (>60) for that series.
5) Have accomplised the Venice slam (red, bass, trout, flounder) twice.

2- catching my first Blue Marlin
3-climbing to the top of Electric Peak in Yellowstone National Forrest
4-my first bow kill, was in Montana hunting in sight of my brother, called the buck back to within shooting range, perfect shot at 43 yards. More of a great memory than an accomplishment
5-passing the masters up to 100ton captains class
1-Teaching my 3 children how to handle firearms/hunt/fish/respect of nature. - this should be and is #1

1. Shot through the "O" in an Old charter bottle (label kept the glass around it in tact) with a .243, from 100yds, free handed, at night, drunk. nb4
2. Killed 8pt at 320 yds, running, with one shot.. from a .243.
3. shot a green wing teal triple last season, only one to shoot at the group
4. 2 banded mallard drakes, one of which I killed on a youth hunt along with 3 other mallard drakes, a wood duck drake, and a widgeon drake. Best bag out of all the kids that got drawn
5. Took my little girl hunting for the first time this season. Didn't see a thing, but she talked about hunting for a week after that. You could tell she knew I was so proud that she had come with me.

1. Killed a deer on first hunt with the first rifle my old man bought me (2 years before he died)
2. 135" 10 pt taken in Jackson parish with same rifle
3. Called in a monster buck this season (and fricked it up with the stick and string, but still the most exciting 2 minutes I've ever had in the woods
4. Saw a piebald doe this year (not really an accomplishment, but still cool)
5. Took the wife on her first deer hunt a couple years back and rolled a doe 3 minutes after sitting down. Now she doesn't understand why I have to sit out there all weekend.

Not gonna lie, running 70+ with a guy you don't know, that just learned the area, and is nervous as hell trying to win 500K... a few butterflies vistited me that day.
It didn't help that I was hit in the head at by a poule-du' (sp?) at 60 + mph the Wednesday of practice

5. My first hole in one on the golf course.
4. Caught and landed a 7 foot blacktip shark on a MirrOLure Top Dawg in Tarpon Bay.
3. Surviving/floating for 6+ hours in the gulf after my girlfriend at the time unknowingly tossed me off the back of a jetski and kept going. Coast Guard finally found me 1 hour before dark.
2. Throwing my first complete game no hitter. My great-aunt who was 60ish at the time had taught me the finer points of her curve ball 3rd paragraph about 4 days beforehand. Did not hurt that she is in the baseball hof in Cooperstown. She was there to see me do it, and cheered me on the whole game.
1. Being the only grandson whom my powpow trusted enough to hand down all his firearms to. Including his very first single shot .22 he bought for $5 when he was a young boy, and his Garand that he used during WW2 over in the Pacific. I miss that man more than words can express.

Navarre tarpon
we were there a 2 weeks before ivan. Lil choupique, mrs choupique and I were fishing on the pier one evening - wife notice several torpedo looking fish cruising in the the trough of the 2nd sand bar...
Lil choupique was 5 and he had a gotcha and they were chasing it just not taking it.....
the next morning at day break i headed out to 2nd sand bar... water was about waist deep but in trough went down to about 12, quickly....
fished about 25 - 30 minutes - had a couple of spanish and blues.. saw about a dozen tarpon cruising.... had another pole with a tarpon specific lure on...
casted right in front of them... bait sank.. BAM.... was about 1/2 mile east of pier... ended up about 100 yards from pier when I could grab at fish... after about 50 minutes.. which really seemed like hours...
was now in chest deep water... - several sharks were now following tarpon...
walked him backwards into shallow water.. saw hook was really embedded in jaw pretty good... and fish was about 125 lbs..
sharks didn't follow us into waist deep water but people on pier could see them
broke fish off so that he could live and fight another day.
that was probably the only day in his life that little choupique slept in and didn't want to fish...
people on the pier were going crazy when the fish was jumping.. got stung by about 5 jelly fish during the fight..
the image of that big silver fish getting airborne 50 feet in front of me straight in line with the sun - will be with me till the day I die... could have gotten off right there and all would have been well...
i used to carry little choupique out into the deep to fish when he was that little - on my shoulders..
did the same on bird hunts....
that would have been his fish..

1. Killing a 155 inch whitetail in Natchez for my first bow kill.
2. Catching a 5 lb trout on topwater while my dad was reeling in a 4.5 lb trout.
3. Passing on a 130" 8 point only to watch him chase a doe to the next food plot where my dad's godchild was sitting. He killed him and it was his first buck. This may be #1.
4. Catching a 25lb stringer at Okhissa in a thunderstorm and my buddy caught a 32 lb stringer with 2 fish right at 8lbs. All released.
5. Killed a pintail and two fox squirrels in one morning with my bow while deer hunting.
