If there's marsh loss, stop taxing people on it and have it revert to the State
How is the property owner going to be compensated for their land that the state is taking over?
What if the land is gone but there's still significant oil or mineral value for the property owner?
What happens if land rebuilds over time? Like what's happening on the east side of Plaquemines where there's intentional and unintentional passes that connect the river to the marsh on that side

what if the land comes back?
Art. 499. Alluvion and dereliction.
Accretion formed successively and imperceptibly on the bank of a river or stream, whether navigable or not, is called alluvion. The alluvion belongs to the owner of the bank, who is bound to leave public that portion of the bank which is required for the public use.
The same rule applies to dereliction formed by water receding imperceptibly from a bank of a river or stream. The owner of the land situated at the edge of the bank left dry owns the dereliction.
Art. 500. Shore of the sea or of a lake.
There is no right to alluvion or dereliction on the shore of the sea or of lakes.

Important sportsman issue. 67000 views in one day - probably staged.
Definitely not.
1. I've seen some of Todd's "short" videos on Youtube that were trying to be funny and he's not a good actor
2. For as much as he fishes and the areas he fishes, it was only a matter of time before he had an encounter with a property owner or lessee over private property. Especially fishing a lot during duck season.

Sum it up for me. I vaguely remember seeing it posted about on here, but didn't pay much attention because I'm not from CenLA and didn't have any intention of hunting or fishing over there.

Landowners surrounding the lake sued the State claiming the lake was a river which changes how the bank is treated. The trial court agreed calling the actions taken by the state in building the control structure a reverse condemnation. Land given back to the owners with damages. Lots of back and forth and some items overturned by eh supreme court. All of this from memory-I could be off a bit.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

I don’t blame CCA for not taking up that fight. Its a lose lose situation
You are assuming this to be their only motivation for not getting involved.
Maybe there is also other motivations for not getting involved. Hint: Louisiana Landowners Association.

I think TM, the princess left his home that morning knowing he was going to provoke a confrontation to boost his YT channel. Come on, fishing was shite in the trenasse but he just plugged away with lame efforts until the duckhunter showed up.
Not why I put the boat in the water. We laugh at the BR fishboys when they come to the marsh.

I duck hunted there years ago and wondered the same thing.

I think TM left his home that morning hoping to provoke a confrontation to boost his YT channel. Its up to 240,000 views in 2 days.
Think about the water TM covers. He just had to fish this duck lease during duck season. It is likely it could be fished out of season with little chance of a confrontation.
In his own words, fishing was less than stellar - undersized fish. He just had to plug away until the duckhunter showed up.
Not why I put my boat in the water. We laugh at the BR fishboy princesses when they come to the marsh. Check out KFred Outdoors for a real outdoor channel. Hard to watch TM.

Are you a copy & paste bot? We read your post the first time.
Also what if we put up Stuttgart AR nets to stop ducks going to that lease? I kid
However, no one owns the fish in da water thats navigable from public waterways. Its the same as people saying you cant fish their boat slips and docks from a publicly accessed tributary

Wondering how this would have turned out if he had been by himself.

Based on what? Do you know Todd?
Why yesterday? Todd fishes over 100 days a year. He's never "provoked a confrontation" in the past. Why was that day special?

He fishes the marsh. Duck hunters hunt the marsh. Every place he fishes during duck season has the potential to run into duck hunters.
quote:
He just had to plug away until the duckhunter showed up.
And the duck hunter just had to drive by Todd and pick a fight. See how this works?

You can't be real. No one is this big of an insecure, blowhard, illiterate, knuckle dragging, short dick, douchenozzle. I refuse to believe that you're this big of a tool. You have to be joking.
