Three mile lake fishing (port barre)

This is a private lake correct? Anyone know about the fishing?

I don’t know who owns it. But you have to own property and be a part of the HOA over there in order to fish the lake. I’ve heard that it’s basically overpopulated.

If I can find a way in, I’ll let you know. But I don’t know anyone that lives there. I was told you have a pass of some sort. My father in law told me he used to know someone that lived there and they used to murder the bar fish off of the deep points. But that guy is long dead and the family sold the house.

Family has a camp on the lake. I don't fish it that often, mostly fish half moon and 2 clock bayou.

I went to Half Moon on Monday. Caught 5 bass and about a thousand choupique.

ETA: I also saw about a dozen otters swimming in the bayou. They came from the woods. I thought a herd of hogs was running at me. Then, all of a sudden a bunch of otters popped up on the bank and dove in. It was awesome!
