OK, we need to post were we each hunt.

Myself, I hunt in east central La in WMA's with a few trips to Reggio inbetween. Also I hunt my place for a few woodies if I get some water.

Money no problem for me be it paypal or what.

We need one centralized person keeping track of the bird totals per team. Rules on posting the proof and emailing the score keeper to update the master sheet etc.

Deep South and I are a team. Need 3 peeps unless Tulane UVA joins this party. His we only need two

One other question. What if more then one person shoots a banded bird on opening day? And also different zones, how are we going to offset that? Or did I miss something?

I already questioned the zone discrepancy. IMO screw the banded bird jackpot and just put it all to one winning team. Or top two

I guess we could shorten the length of the contest to include dates where everyone will be hunting.

How does November 17th - January 20th sound?

Spoonies don't count, banded or not...

Shovelers should count IMO. They are big ducks after all.

Never hear of a banded spoonie, but I guess it could happen.

But smaller then a woodie. Myself, I don't shoot them and would not waste the shot for one.

Never disgrace the Hollywoods! Without a doubt the most compliant ducks in the sky.

Grubbs, AR
Booger Den, MS

I've got money in my paypal right now & I'd rather not get it mixed up with the prize money. Whoever wants to hold the money, go make a paypal account & I'll post the address in the OP...

One think this will do is make me take a lot more birds I would usually pass up. I will usually pass up non good birds "blackjacks, spoonies" even if it means not limiting out.

Agree on the shortened season. Need teams solidifed and announced prior to people putting money in a pot though. Plus how to keep track of who has paid?

It's a sad day when a flying fish gets a point and a Hollywood doesn't. I wouldn't waste a 10 yo estate shell someone found in the bottom of the boat and gave me on a scaup. But after three notes on call and smiley locks up and drops into spread like a boss, I'll put tungsten in his arse.

Mainly hunt off the Brady Canal, weekdays I will hunt in Morganza and throw in a few trips to Morse for geese mid week if a good front is coming.
