Can’t decide if she is writing a novel or really believes this.

When I saw this title, I figured 90% chance it would involve coyotes.

Sometimes I'll play my predator call in the driveway about 2am and see how many posts I get the next morning.

Lmao. How does that next door app work? I live in a super rural area, so we don’t have any active groups. Can you join any neighborhood or is it strictly Geo oriented based on the location of your device?

No you have to verify your current address to be part of the neighborhood. I started a shite storm by commenting "elections have consequences" to a post regarding petty crime around the area I live. It's typically old women who use it like Facebook and complain about everything. Extremely entertaining tbh.

Me and Mom joined it in NELA but the area was too new to survive the neighborhood section startup period. Only did it as Mom wanted to sell some furniture after we moved her.

Can't remember the password to sign back in now a year and half later. They keep sending us email though to try to get us to sign back in, especially now that the area has grown. They want that ad revenue but this area is too lame to bother with a new PW. Never any drama from the look of what we get, just looking for services stuff, no arguments, or lost pets, or boogeymen. /snap

The furniture? Yeah, donated to charity as everyone has furniture they are trying to get rid of it seems. Can't even get $5 for quality stuff.

Why does she assume the owner doesn’t care? It’s possible he slept through it or wasn’t even home.

I sleep through dogs barking all the time

Not like wolves do, but they are pretty gregarious and will have temporary family packs and whatnot.

This. People would rather film and post a tragic event than intervene and help.

That's how the "Karens" of NextDoor work.

I have to say though..the night our dog got out a couple years ago, we posted on ND and it was good that we did because the lady who called us that she had her found our number on ND. But otherwise...it's a drama fest.

And yes, I fixed the gate where the wind could not blow the latch open. Stupid scissor latches for privacy fences suck.

My wife and I were just talking about this this morning. She said it’s mostly just women with nothing better to do.

cat owners are in their own class of drama queens. Hell hath no fury like cat owners when a negative word about cats or cat owners has been uttered.

Yeah I’ve certainly heard a bunch of them howling and carrying on together on many occasions.

I wonder what the lady would have posted if alleged dog owner came to the rescue with one of them "automatic salt rifles/weapon of war" and started picking the coyotes off one by one? Probably would be in an uproar about how he killed innocent creatures.

We shall see how that goes.
