I was going West on I-12 two years ago and a hawk dove down and caught a mouse in the neutral ground. He took off, cleared the passing lane but there was a box truck in the next lane. He was about to hit the truck so he dropped the mouse to gain elevation. The mouse absolutely exploded on the windshield of a yellow hummer

I was driving on a little country highway about 3AM in BFE Fordsville KY and an owl hit my windshield on the passenger side and shattered that half of the windshield. I about shite my pants.

I was on the way to Nashville to catch a flight back to NOLA. I thought screw it, I can see good enough to drive. I got to the airport and the Hertz counter and the company had paid for damage insurance, so no sweat off my arse. Caught the flight in time.

This past summer a buzzard dropped rotten intestines on my truck. It landed on the bottom of the windshield right where fresh air comes into the AC. I pulled over so the significant other could puke. I used shop towels to pulled the large pieces off. Windshield wiper fluid made it worse. The ride home was terrible

I need your eyesight. 75mph before daylight and you could see his talons out before he hit your windshield.

Not necessarily a weird animal but strange kill nonetheless.

I was driving along on a country road with the windows down and a song bird T-Boned me striking the ridge wear the window glass track is....SOB landed dead in my lap.

Driving up I-49 one day, I think in the spring and I swear it must have been black bear rut going on. They were dead on the side of the road every few miles

My wife just barely missed turning a bald eagle into road kill. Driving in the parkway at Poverty Pt. Lake, she saw the eagle swoop down from a tree right in front of her. Hit the brakes and managed not to hit it. She and my granddaughter saw it hit the water and come up with a fish.

They do this to use your headlights shining out to catch prey. I’ve hit several this way over the years. Impact is usually at the very top of windshield and roof

This. Didn't hit the owl but when leaving for work before dawn my headlights illuminated a rabbit and the owl started coming in hot!

an alligator that had been hit by a truck. the skull was smashed and gone right in front of it's eyes and what was left measured right at 11.5'. I would have hated being the driver that hit that big bastard

On my motorcycle cruising through the mountains of Colorado and I'm in the lead with 3 bikes behind me. I'm in a left hand sweeper doing about 70 and out of nowhere a big arse bird of some type swooped down and slammed into my front crash guard and disintegrated in a huge puff of feathers.

The riders behind me got the brunt of the feathers since it looked like a pillow exploded.

Back in 1979, My mom, me, and my sister was traveling down the highway. When we was hit by a horse on the passenger side. The horse's head went through the window without the body.

Good friend, had a Turkey go through the windshield of his company van. He said it look like a crime scene.
