Me and a friend, were 16-17y/o or so, headed fishing before daylight and almost ran over some dumbass laying the highway, passed out I guess.
Had a green head jump out the road ditch once and cracked my windshield.

Hit a bat on I-10 in the 1990s. Creepy little frickers

On I-10 west of Port Allen, in 1990, hit an owl at the top of the my windshield. Killed the owl and he cut about five flips before he hit the interstate. Spiderwebbed my windshield. Surprised he didn’t come through the windshield because I was doing 70. Was going to LSU at the time.

Hit a turkey on the wat to school when I was in high school. I was running late...as usual ...so I got to school and ran in without checking my car. After school I was walking out to my car and noticed a crowd around my car. Turns out the damn thing was dead hanging out the grill. Looked like my car had a black feathery nose.

Back in high school some friends of mine found a dead crane at the intersection of these roads in my home town. This thing was huge. Even all dead and flopped over it was like 4.5 ft long.
One of our friends left his trunk unlocked at all times and we threw it in the back of the car. A few weeks go by and this guy walks in to the locker room and is complaining non-stop about how bad his car smells. Can’t figure out why. We finally tell him and we pop the trunk and the smell sent just about all of us running for the ditch to throw up in

I hit a beaver right at dusk by tiki tubing. There was a car in the other lane and I couldn't avoid it. Wasn't sure what it was at the time. Looked under my truck after I got to my destination and found hair stuck to the frame where it was dented.
On my way home I stopped where I hit it and got out to look. I found a full grown beaver dead as a doornail. I used to have a photo of it, but I lost it in the 2016 flood.
