I will hit the donut shop on the way so long as they are open. By town you mean New Rhoads or Ventress?

Good. That way you can just pull in and turn around in the backyard to set up. It looks like I just had close to 3" of rain.

If you can, it would be best to get here before dark.

New Roads. I live just outside of the city limits. The donut shop is on Hospital Road/La 1 just across from the super Walmart store. It's a very small shop.

Any BR regulars have any traffic advice...I'll be pulling through BR around 5pm...
should I go up 110 to 61 to the new bridge?
route says longer, but it's not a crooked road...
could it also be the least traffic route?

Anyone know if we need the smallest size(4") wood clamp or if we need the next larger size(6")?

Both Garmin and Waze now direct me over the new bridge when traveling through that area. It is a straight shot, most is 4 lanes...

I found where fish said a 3" or better clamp was fine, and I found some ratcheting bar clamps but I'm not sure they have enough reach. Anyone know if they need a certain reach on them?
