Guys due to church constraints I can't make it in the am tomorrow to help cut wood. I may be able to run over during the week.

However I'll throw this out there...

I haven't been able to do crap to help my wood guy fell through, can't come over an help tomorrow. Ya'll get me the name of a party rental place in the area and Fish you get me your address and I'll have a tent up at Fish's house on Friday.

OK guys, we knocked out cutting the plywood and a bunch of 1x4's. Work went fast. eng08td, tigerpaw and Coco showed up to help. Big time help guys and thanks. This will save a lot of time for everybody else next weekend.

Oh, I did extend the boats 6" to get them closer to a 14' finish, 10" sides.

Man wish, I could have been there. Wife has said she is not coming next weekend and wants this to be a boys and dad thing. So we will need someone to take photos/video.

Let me know if we definitely need the tarped garage frame. I have to take it apart this week if so.

I will get way more into what is what along with working with wood and boat building or anything in general.

BP, they change the farcast again. I am sure we will get rain, but how much is the question. So, we will need to build a tent. I will wait till Thursday before going to get tarps. Hope by then there get more tarps the size we need in.

Nap is calling me.

Sorry I couldn't make it to help today. Thanks to all that were able to help Fish out.

Fish, how much down time will we have through the day? Anyone else bringing kids besides me (little wick is 8) and BP's kids?

Really not much if we going to try to get them done in one day. A lot depends on helping each other at different steps and of course weather. As far as the young ones, the wife will be around to help out. She loves kids. Should of gave her 5 to 10 more.

are those 12 ga?

Did you coun t one of the pounds?

cause I did... and only 290 in the 1# box...weight is correct as I weighed them on a postal scale.

that is why I ordered 2 more pounds, to cover any shortages we all may have...

***FOOD UPDATE***

I talked with Fish yesterday about 2 of my favorite topics, cooking and eating, anyway I was initially planning to bring my deep fryer but he brought up some good points in that to use the fryer it would require a lot of hands on set up, prep, cooking and cleaning, taking away from the limited time we have for pirouge building, he said he would rather smoke some chickens or something and said he would handle that. I feel that Fish has already done too much...what do yall think? I was thinking of ordering a couple trays of finger sandwiches for lunch, they would be easy and quick and cheap??? or everybody could bring there own and fend for themselves??

I don't think anyone will have time to cook...and Fish especially doesn't need to be pushing himself...I agree...Lunch should be be something quick like sandwiches...maybe everyone pack a lunch for the day that morning...
