Does anyone fish out of a paddle board? I just purchased a 12' Bote. I don't do well sitting all day but will have the option if I need to. I fly fish and it looked like a better platform to do so. Anyone do both?

Can't help you there. I heard someone won the Ride the Bull tourney on a Paddle board a few years ago.

I would baw, but on daddy duty all weekend. I’ll be smoking meat and drinking beers all day me.

I Haven’t Heard much on Choupique, but pelican point has been doing pretty well the past couple of days. My cousin went on Wednesday and caught his limit before nine. Egret wedge tails and suspension baits have been the ticket. We will be in that area tomorrow morning in my buddies bay boat. The tide should be falling most of the morning so fish will hopefully be there.

I've been wanting to go to Choupique for a month but I'm on call and doing some work around the shop. Let me know how it goes though. I might be free next weekend and if so I'm fishing somewhere.

Looking for a nice used SOT kayak in North Louisiana, no more than $500. No crap. Any leads?

LEFTY, any luck at choupique?

4 Reds, no trout or flounder. Water was extremely shallow, but I didn't check the tides. It was kind of a strange day. I had probably 10 blowups all day. I had a lot of misses. Gulp Shrimp was most productive.

Any issues with the Black Max in saltwater?
Posted on 12/3/17 at 11:53 am to LSUlefty
its the 1st time with it, its a solid lil reel but figured it has stainless bearings so what the hell if it last a couple season at its price pt I'd be happy
