Question for those using external battery for GoPro filming. I got the 3Br powersports external plug system and have to figure out which battery works best. My buddy says he uses a cellphone battery charger and it works great. I got a 30,000mah one for GoPro use. I also have numerous 10k ones around the house for cell phone/ipad recharging. Anybody running one of those for a camera? I'm curious to find out how long the 30,000mah block is going to power the battery on 1080p.

So at Hog Island did you fish the left or right side of that Weir / Pump Station?

Anyone here fish off a stand up paddle board? I feel as if you’d be limiting yourself to calm water days.

I can't even stand up on a damn SUP, much less fish off of it
. I don't see where the value/utility of a SUP beats even an entry level kayak.

Caught my 3 reds in about 20min last night around BSL and then stuck around and released another 5 or 6. Flat calm and steamy out. No trout to be found, but the reds were thick. I tried on Sunday night and got sent packing by an unexpected T-storm. It came out of nowhere and was pretty wild. I was a bit paranoid last night, but it stayed calm.

About what time? I pulled in a couple reds, one slot and the other rat, off a pier in the Pass on Monday around 8.

Left side K (heading south on 27)
Go down the main canal, take a left in the 1st main cut but down even try in a low tide, will be a mud hole
And no help on the GoPro info, have a buddy that uses one but only has the built in bat tree
And never tried a paddle board but I do a lot of sight fishing for reds so I’m standing up most of the day, it’s one hell of a workout
But I wouldn’t mind trying it out, there’s a guys that fishes the marsh and does YouTube vids
He does really well hunting reds

I should've went to Hog Island this past Sunday, I've only been once and need to learn a little more about that area. Instead I kept driving and went to West Cove. Big mistake, water was CRAZY fresh in the canal and the south bank of the cove was all fresh too. Caught one 12.5" trout and one 16.5" red and that was it. On my way back in I found a line in the cove where you could see the freshwater/saltwater meet so I probably would've been much better off at Hog Island.

I'm thinking that's where I'm going Saturday

WC or HI? I'd avoid WC for a few weeks. I knew it would be a rough day when I shined my headlight down the canal and about 20 alligators were looking at me, seriously never seen that many alligators in WC canal.

I saw you commented on those knock off pedal drive kayaks on Facebook the other day, I found those exact kayaks on Alibaba(the website where you can order ANYTHING in bulk from China) and they're like $500 a piece for a shipping container full of them, not sure what shipping would cost to get a whole container sent over though.

Lol, so he just bought a bunch to sell or is he a dealer?
