I just don't like the layout of the Old Town. No dual steering, no internal rod holders, a narrow tank well, and no front hatch bucket. If they address those things I'd be interested because of the drive. The price of the 360 drive is ridiculous.

My PA came with a huge bucket for the front hatch. I keep rain gear, first aid kit, TP, etc..

I'm leaning towards a PA
Wife might not like the sticker price though

I'll try to set up a demo or go to a demo day

Yep, that is one thing that I would like to see them address. The front hatch hole is too small to put a bucket like the PA but it would be awesome to have as a fish box/cooler.

I bought both of mine used. There are plenty out there and some that never get used.

TO completely change the subject, has anyone here ever fished out of a solo skiff? If so, how did you like it?

We are about to start on a family camp on Cane River so I figured I will be splitting a lot of time between there and Big Lake. I am toying with the idea of looking to a Solo Skiff. My main concern is that I will need some added range to really fish Cane River (plus it will be a fun camp toy) but it also keeps the simplistic(ish) way of fishing that a kayak provides which I really enjoy. Only other issue I see is that I would need to add a trolling motor to a Solo Skiff.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I'll fill you in on where I sink some of my PVC brush piles! Trying to convince the head honcho that we need to get two fishing lights on the boathouse.

I'd have to see something concrete to buy that statement and even then I'd still question at it. Just my opinion, purely anecdotal. I've tested every pedal drive available. None of the cycle pedal style boats handle changes in pedaling effort to me. The gearing is not optimal. The next evolution should have a high and low gearing. All of this is before you start making salad with them.
