If they can make an insert fit an MD-180
I thought Vibe was using the original MD? If they are, I'm pretty sure the 180 drive was compatible with any MD kayak. So should it should be the same insert...unless Vibe made some slight changes to the specs on their version of the drive.

No idea. They still haven't put out any info on the "X Drive" yet.

Which is crazy as hell to me...

Vibe: We're not changing the game, we're ending it!

Public: Cool, how?

Vibe: With this bitchin arse drive from 2004! Behold this greatness!

Public: Not exactly ending the game, but can we see it?

Vibe: We have a sketch of it! And look at all these gear tracks!

With FeelFree redesigning the seat the Moken 12.5 has to be on that list too. $799 with the sonar pod for electronic mounting and wheel in the keel for transport... Killer boat at that price point.

Random side note, I checked out the FeelFree pedal drive at ICast. Turned it a few times by hand at the show, good lord it made my legs tired just thinking about having to pedal that thing all day.

Have a question about the Jackson Bite.

I'm a larger than normal guy (6'4" 220lbs, really am and not OT 6'4" 220).

Will it be big enough? It looks like it would be but I want to be safe.

It is rated for 400lbs. So you're good there. If you're wondering about leg room, you'll have to paddle one and find out. But it is an 11'3" kayak and 35" wide, so not small by any means. I imagine you'll be fine.

That drive looks bad. Did Nucanoe and Jackson have their new drives there?

That's pretty much what I expected, but wanted to ask and make sure.

Thanks Coco.

You ain't kidding. I bought my first Pelican Catch 116 back in summer of '07 for $469. Man how the game has changed. There were few options back then for anything worth a damn and standing and fishing was almost completely out of the question. Crazy what you can get. Hell, for $399 now you can get the Lifetime kayak with the lawnchair seat and plenty of stability to stand and fish.

So, they only had one Jackson Bite.

Since they only had one they made me a deal but I bought the Cuda HD

Paid 599 for the Bite.

So you got a cuda and a bite?? That's awesome. Jackson makes great kayaks, and they have really good customer support.

Yes. Cuda HD and the Bite.

My son was really excited when I got home. Made it worth it.
