I like the idea of it, but not the execution and definitely not the price.

I saw pictures of the Vibe pedal and it's the old Mirage drive. Also it's getting a motor option.

I haven't seen the full kayak yet but you don't throw out words like this and then turn around and drop a copy of a drive Hobie moved on from 10 years ago. You don't "end the game" with someone elses old discarded shite. What a turd.

There's a video now on Facebook. The boat itself looks great, but the drive is no where to be seen.

I guess the whole "end the game" shite is because they have the option for either the knockoff mirage drive or motorized.

Congrats...but FeelFree already came out with that on their OverDrive system last year. And FeelFree's design is better because you can use pedal and motorized power simultaneously, where this new Vibe setup looks like you have to pull the pedal drive out to but the motorized one in its place.

ETA: Nevermind. Looks like its just "Bixpy jet ready". Not a motor that comes with the yak

Not that impressed. Nice looking yak, but they built expectations too high to meet.

Feature packed at a good price point, and I agree it looks like a Bonafide. Just hate they went with the hobie drive.
