Go to PAC and try paddling against that current. I don't touch my paddle unless I absolutely have to.

Lots of people paddle against the wind.

How far would you have to go in water too shallow for a prop? I have never encountered more than 15 yards.

It's not just the wind, it's the current. Ask the Jackson guy on here when his drive broke at our tourney. Had my drive broke I would have had to get towed in. I couldn't have paddled it that day.

In water too shallow for a prop? That's the issue. Stay on topic.

Y’all gonna frick or what!?

But seriously we’ve all learned that no boat is perfect in every condition
Shallow yes mirage if good but flutter kicking sucks balls much easier to raise the drive and paddle imo at that pt.
Personally I think prop is an easier motion
And I use the shite out of reverse
Other people don’t even care about it
find the rig that suits how are YOU like to fish
and go find em!

I’m still paddling, so I have nothing to add.

You must never fish in the wind then.

You live in Laffy, why don't you join the LKFC?

I have considered it many times. Between work and my kids I just don't do much of anything. Hell, I joined a bass club last year and was able to fish in maybe 1/3 of the tournaments. And bass fishing is my #1.

Maybe when my kids go off to college.

I'm not that much better, after paddling about 4 years I updated just a year ago. I also went from one of the only guys paddling at the tournaments to now I'm basically the only guy in the "cheap" pedal boat(Compass).

I think you'd enjoy it. The meetings and tournaments are spaced out. And there are some really good guys in the club.
