I tried out a buddy's new Outback when we were at Paddlepalooza. The steering is very responsive and turns on a dime compared to my PA

I haven't finished installing mine yet but a guy on the Compass facebook group is 3D printing seat risers. I've always said I wished the Compass seat was just a little higher so I can't wait to try these out.

Thats a great idea. Will give some under-seat storage too. That was always a complaint I had with the compass.

"Anyone with a new outback have any complaints about the new rudder?".
You have to load it in the truck backwards or the rudder drags the ground...or have 2 people loading it.

It comes with a clip on device to keep the rudder from hitting the ground.

Oh yea, looking at the forecast we should be ok up until around lunch time. We are talking about potentially bumping up the weigh in or something along those lines. Good news is since it's a shotgun launch we'll be able to make everyone aware prior to setting off.

I know of a few people heading down around noon, I don't see getting down there being an issue, but I'll let you know if I hear of anything.
