I prefer to just strap a trolling motor on the back. Less in-hull shite that can go wrong, the better.

Yes, but it looks a little sketchy.

The biggest issue with their drive which essentially makes it useless is it hangs off the back. How tf are you going to remove grass/weeds if it’s on the back of your boat?

Integrated livewell with aerators maybe?

Would be pretty nice if Hobie replaced the square hatch on the PA with a built in livewell. Lot more convenient to have it right in front of you than to have to always turn around to get bait out of an aerated livewell in the rear cargo area.

After the Outback's redesign made it more popular among a lot of fishermen than the Pro Angler, Hobie has to be planning something big on a PA redesign or new features.

Hell no, I love that hatch.

I do agree there. A new PA can't be far behind.

I only use that hatch for my phone, wallet and keys. Could easily just throw those things in with other stuff in my front hatch.

I have my phone, soft plastics, and small tackle tray in there with jig heads and a spare TW lure or 2.

Any of you seen the new Hobie Passport 10.5? I guess Hobie trying to market an entry mirage drive kayak for Noobs. Plus, I think their patent is up on the mirage drive, which is why Pelican is selling a $1500 mirage-like drive system kayak. Passport priced at $1299. This would be great for an extra kayak for a kid or guest.
