I'm hoping to duck out of the office a couple hours early tomorrow but doubtful. I believe there's a group going eat at Tradewinds Friday night and the marina is supposed to have the bar open too.

48 so far, I know there's a few more still not signed up. I'm guessing will end up with 55-60ish total.

I’ll be in cocodrie Friday afternoon around 4 or so. I’ll be in a blue flats boat. Come say hello so I could meet a few of you and give a few secret spots to you guys.

My tournament is already over. my wife called and said that our dog is not doing well and we'll end up having to put him down either tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm hurting.

Sorry bud. Last time I had to do that was a hard arse day.

Just try to make tomorrow as positive of a day as you can for your dog.

I wish I could find a dog version of this, but the cat's just gonna have to show some respect for ya:

When we had to say goodbye, we thought about one of the most random silly stories... From early on when we got him. Had grabbed some Arbys one day on the way home and right as I was going to take a bite sitting on the couch, my dog (who was a pretty young pup at the time) jumped up and took a big arse bite out of the other side of the damn sandwich, snatching most of the meat. I ended up having to scratch that dinner plan and make some ramen or something. At the time, I can remember being kinda pissed... At the end, we wanted to remember the silly moments so that was sort of the last "treat" for him.

Good luck, and just remember all the great times. If it came to this, the other side is likely a lot better for your dog than what they're going through now.

Sorry to hear. Give him his favorite table food and try to make his last bit of time here comfortable as possible. How old is he?

Thanks everyone. This is extremely difficult for me and my family. He's the best pet I could have ever hoped for.

He's a 10 1/2 yr old Boxer. Got him when he was a puppy. My kids grew up with him.
