Why do you HATE bumping my thread?

I don't. Just got my FS12T home from Jackson after taking it out on the pearl river twice and I'm ready to get after it.

Will probably be in a lake near there this afternoon.

ETA: I probably had trouble finding it because It's technically Woodlake Drive not Rd.

Looks to be about 11 miles from there to the end of hoo shoo too. That'd work just fine. Did 11 miles on the Pearl a few weeks ago.

That would be with the current right?

Are the 2 yakkers that fished the marsh above freshwater city on the OB? Meant to ask when we stopped to talk to y'all but were running late. We were in a gray F150.

If so any luck in the marsh? we did pretty good down by the mouth of that pass into the gulf.

Officially broke in my new yak with some babies.

Only caught about three this size but it was a learning day for me.

What's wrong with Olive?

My favorite colors are Dark greens of various shades including Olive. The only reason I could see getting the tan is if I was worried about the sun beating down on the dark color.

Where you headed Wise?

I'm going to Leeville thursday night for Friday fishing if the weather holds up. This is going to be one of those guided deals anything from the Redfish master?

Nothing bro. Welcome to Team Ascend. But you said it exactly...the dark colors and the heat.

Redfish, IDK it'll be guided so I'm not going to be pointing us in any direction. Just wondering if you've heard anything good about the fishing there recently.

ETA: Tulane, I haven't had any issues with the temps. I could see it being a problem on a SINK but if I get hot I just dip my feet into the water.

A guided kayak trip? Sounds sweet. Take some notes and next time you go down I might meet up with you. That's an area I would like to learn.

lol, no. Not a kayak trip sadly enough.

Sorry for the confusion.

I did learn very quickly that I'd need an anchor though for any real fishing or anything with a slow retrieve.

Hell I'd probably need you to show me around down there. As much as I love marsh fishing I've only ever really done a whole lot of it on guided trips.
