Class 3 license is a Curio and Relic license.
Per ATF 478.11:
To be recognized as C&R items, 478.11 specifies that firearms must fall within one of the following categories:

Firearms which were manufactured at least 50 years prior to the current date, but not including replicas of such firearms;

Firearms which are certified by the curator of a municipal, State, or Federal museum which exhibits firearms to be curios or relics of museum interest; and

Any other firearms which derive a substantial part of their monetary value from the fact that they are novel, rare, bizarre, or because of their association with some historical figure, period, or event.

Spectacular collection and an interesting video, but slightly disturbing. There's obviously millions of dollars worth of weapons, equipment, uniforms and other paraphernalia in that place. The crazy part is the stuff like, "Here's my T-54. Fully operational." And "This is a deuce and a half filled with live bombs. I have plenty." "I'm ready if there's trouble in town." WTF?!?

He does tours once a week? How's the math work on that?!? Unless this dude is a Rockefeller heir or something, this is a little odd to figure out.

I'd LOVE to visit his museum, but am I the only one that thinks that this kind of private arsenal is slightly extreme? I'm not anti-gun at all. My brother owns hundreds of guns. Whenever someone proposes some type of "what will you do?" type doomsday scenario, I always answer by saying, "I'm going to my brother's house." But he doesn't even have one, much less 13, fully automatic M-2s surrounding his perimeter.

Some people and their gluttony. They should just share the love.

I don't look at that collection one bit different than the hundreds of people who own 100 million dollars worth of collector cars. That's what he likes that what he gets.

If you argue that then you are more anti second amendment than you like to allude to

Sure its extreme, thats whats awesome about it. He obviously has some money.

I'm glad he can acquire that kind of collection, and im quite jealous to be honest.

I think people like Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld are odd. Leno has millions of dollars worth of cars out at Burbank Airport that are primarily just there for him to look at. Seinfeld bought a building in NYC to store his 100(+) Porsches.

That's weird, but harmless. It's their money to spend as they see fit. You don't see any difference between car, art or whatever collectors and the guy in the video?

As far as being jealous goes ... you and me, both! When he told the story about firing the recoilless rifle and needing a couple of days to rebuild the berm, I was thinking, "Build it bigger! You need a bigger berm so you can fire the 106!"

I have a college roommate who was in the Guard. He eventually ended up flying in Army Aviation and seeved in Iraq. He swears that firing an M-2 on the range was one of the most thrilling things he's even done. But that doesn't mean we should all have one at our immediate disposal.

I advise you to not go on one of his tours. I seriously doubt he has gender neutral bathrooms.

If you see any difference then like I said yu are more anti second amendment than you think and you disagree about the fundamental reason for it.
