No idea what they were but we jumped several flocks of ducks in Green Canyon yesterday while swordfishing.

Scratch saturday in delacroix, 2 on sunday. Saw a lot of new birds showing up most of the morning Sunday, big flights up high from the north so should get better.

We scratched in Delacroix Saturday; didn't even see a teal. No one at the launch had any in their bag. Heard a handful of shots towards PLH. Did not go or get any reports from Sunday.

Hens and juvies should be arriving soon, hopefully by Saturday morning. Anyone heard reports from Pecan Island?

Heard a similar report from a crawfish pond north of Raceland.

Hopefully this little front brings a few more down. I may try to sneak a hunt tomorrow morning.

Teal were going nuts yesterday in Acadia Parish. Quick 3-man limit by 715, but wish we had a few more hunters. Saw hundreds more coming in as we were packing up to leave.

Killed two opening morning on catahoula. Actually saw a good many birds. I was not able to hunt sunday but reports were much much better.

Didn't get to go but on the north end nobody was killing anything from what I was told, but I did hear Sunday people were actually seeing a few here and there. THis weather might help for next weekend.

Hunted a rice field in Gueydan Saturday ..6 birds for 4 hunters...People who hunted the marsh appeared to have heavier straps...Hunted Sunday in the Pine Island area didn't fire a shot...Mixed reports..Will be back in the blind Wednesday...Hoping the front brings'em on in.

Opening weekend Henning Guide Service at Thornwell Oaks.

Limits Saturday and Sunday. 2 guys stayed for this morning and got limits.

Good times, good food and I stayed up way too late and drank too much Friday and Saturday but still shot pretty damn good considering.

Good luck out there. It is that time of year, finally.

60 degrees this morning and I’m at work. The teal are probably roosting on the blind rails.

Can confirm the weak cool front brought some more birds down to St. Bernard Parish. Saturday and Sunday knocked down 3 and 5. Yesterday easily shot 18 with three guys.

Gonna go see about that this weekend. Definitely saw an influx on Sunday morning.
