I would post a better picture but all have my face. The picture against the tree doesn't do the tine lengths justice. His main beams were 24 6/8 and 25 2/8. Right side G2 was 9 6/8, ledt side g2 11 4/8

So using those measurements and being very generous with brow times (4.5”) each, G 3’s (7”) each, mass measurements of 5”, 4”, 3.5” and 3”, I’m coming up with 137”. Which is probably a few inches north of what he actually scores. Great buck of which you should be proud. Not 144”

That's a buck worthy of waiting for. I'm sure having waited so long makes the feeling even more satisfying.

Yeah no. A 140-inch 8 point is massive, this deer isn’t even in that ballpark. Nice buck for piney woods, but cmon with 144”.

Sound advice. That’s a deer to be proud of. No need to fudge the numbers to try to make it bigger than it is.
