I drilled 5 plots today and have 3 to drill tomorrow. I had a guy come and spray 2 sweet gum thickets with his drone today. Pretty cool to watch. He does deer density surveys, sprays and even plants duck holes with his drone.

How much he charges? I’d be interested in a deer density survey on my property near Port Gibson.

You can't be far from me. I'm just about directly in the middle of Woodville/Centerville and about a mile North of 24. Right by LSU Shelly. If you ever need anything just holler I can give you my email.

I did a couple jobs in that area last summer off old 24/Willie Neyland Rd. Lots of TD members over that way.

Small world. I was there building a new plot and camp area close to the Buffalo.

I can pee off my porch and almost hit that area if the wind is blowing right.

They're backing up on the forecast. It's gone from 80-90% back to 50-60% and the amount of rain predicted for Port Gibson area has gone down from over 1" to about half an inch.

There aren’t many houses over that way. Boo-boo lives on the lake and I’m not sure after that.

That doesn’t surprise me haha. I hunted in a club with him the last few years on Coons Mill Rd.

So south of the Buffalo? I can’t be more than a few miles from there as the crow flies.

I looked at several forecasts for Centreville and while they are all different I’m optimistic,

AccuWeather has 90% chance of rain for tomorrow (Thursday) and 88% for Friday with a little over 1” forecast between the two days

Weather Underground has 72% and 1.25” tomorrow and 54% and 0.36” Friday

MyForecast app has 94% / 1.04” tomorrow, 80% and 0.32” tomorrow

Damn the forecast can change quickly

AccuWeather still at 90% but forecast rainfall down to 2/3” for today and tomorrow.

Weather Underground now down to 70% chance of rain and amount of rain forecast for today and tomorrow is down 1/2” (was 1.6”)

MyForecast app is the only one that didn’t change much.

Don’t get me wrong - 1/2” of rain spread over 2 days would suit me just fine!
