Gus' Tackle in slidell sells them for about 20 bucks. I need a pair to match all my Calcutta t-shirts.
Z's Tackle in Lutcher sells them as well, that's where I bought my dad's pair. Only place I've seen them in BR is Superior, and they have a huge arse selection.

When do dem Lemonfish start running off MS/AL? I want to make a trip this spring but I've always gone out of TX.
End of April thru first of June will provide the best shot. I have always seen and caught the most in the latter part of May thru first week in June. Then again in Oct when they return.

Will these fit my big arse head? They look narrow, but I like the look.
I think I would consider them a wider frame.

I've got a cousin who runs a boat out of Destin, but he is strictly offshore. I will probably take some customers out of Orange Beach in May. Thanks.

IMO Maui Jim and Ray-Ban have the best lenses and are sometimes cheaper than most Costas.
I have a pair of MJ Stingrays and some Ray-bans that look just like them. The Stingrays are nice as hell, but my nose is fat and thin-skinned from being broken so many times. The rubber pieces on the nose part leave red marks on my nose if I wear them too long

I wear these American Optical pilot's glasses. They had the US contract before Randolph Engineering got it, also fantastic sunglasses. I have them in a matte finish with the Cosmetan brown polarized lenses and the spatula temples. For a $110 they are seriously kick arse. If anything breaks they sell replacement parts, and since they are military type everything comes apart. Pilot's don't wear polarized lenses to fly, but I don't have a plane. Check out Randolphs too if you're interested in metal framed glasses and don't want to look metro.
Link to AO.
ETA: They make three sizes based on your head size.

I have several pairs of Oakley Pro M Frame. Switch out different lens for shooting at the range, or running a marathon.
I have several other pairs of Oakleys but wear my Pro M frames 90% of the time.

The only problem I have with the cheaper brands like Magellan, Strike King, Calcutta is that they're hard on my nose and the hinges go to crap real fast.

I usually lose or damage a pair long before the hinges wear out. I am not paying $300 for a pair of sunglasses. You can get a good pair for $40-$80 bucks and not worry about them a lot.

If I lived in Alaska, I would have to have the best lenses on the market.

I guess it depends on how much you value those things. I have a few pair of shades that aren't cheap, but not something I worry about growing tired of, losing or breaking and do the job very well. Sufficient enough for me, at least. If I can get 18 mo - 2 years out of a pair, I am happy.
If I am paying $200 or more for shades, they better be recording data, playing music, showing video or creating food stuff.
