Fellas,
I caught my best 5 trout stringer this weekend. Total weight 26.5 lbs.
Who is the best at mounting speckled trout? Pics and suggestions please.

I would think something like that would easily cost 1k but idk. $200 per fish would be under what I've seen it priced at

the guy I got mine with, was like $5 per inch, but hes just doing deer now.

Yeah I think they may discount for 5 at once. I was thinking it was probably 1k. Not sure though. I've never had a trout mounted.

Yeah that was me. I've been fishing that rodeo hard every year. I would always lose by tenths of a pound. I had em by 5 pounds this year. Catching 1 or 2 nice ones happens but 5 on the day of a rodeo is tough. It might not happen again for me.. ha ha.. That's why I'm thinking about getting them mounted.

No. CHS in BR. I hate that you caught that heavy a stringer. I fished a small tournament out of Dulac this weekend. My stringer was 12.96 and I was only beat by a 14 lb stringer. that's a good stringer in my area.

ETA: Last time I talked to someone about mounting a fish it was something egregious, like $12/inch.

Yea I only got to fish Saturday and we had no luck. One of our team members fished Friday and caught a red that got second place in the red category, third overall (26.55 lbs).
