Lots of specks flying over in NE AR today while fishing. Several groups of teal and a few big ducks around the lake.

I’ve seen a few flock of some kind of geese flying over my house in Abita. Definitely not Canadian. I could hear them and was surprised to given how damn high they were. Not sure what species though. Just know not Canadian geese. Completely different sound and they looked like they might have been tan to brown. Sun was catching them just right to see their color.

Quite a few in SW la rice already which is about right. Arkansas' early season starts this week I think so they're about to get banged on pretty good up there.

Heard and seen a few over st Tammany. Very high up. I’m guessing they migrate ahead of the snows and blues. Anyone seen or heard any of those yet?
