My dad and I stopped by Red Jacket yesterday. He has an old 1862 .52 caliber rimfire that he has had since he was a kid. He has done countless hours of research on it and talked to several experts, he still only knows very limited knowledge about it. He wants to get a blank cartridge made for it to put on display with the gun and was maybe hoping they could find someone who would know about it.
I told him that you now need an appointment for anything but he's old and doesn't care and since we were in the area, stopped by. They had the usual security guard outside and lots of workers going in and out of the shop. Dad just walked up to the door and started knocking and Chris came out. He was very polite and nothing like what you see on tv. Then two kids came up to take pictures with the signs and Chris put on his tv persona and started acting goofy (before meeting Jim yesterday I would have called it being a jackass but that is no longer my opinion of him). After they left he came back to my dad and I and helped us the best he could. He refferred is to a guy in California and gave us his card. All in all, a good guy.
I have no idea how this whole deal is going to play out but he still works there and what you see on tv, is not what you get in person, with Chris at least.

on a serious note however, thanks for shitting in our home Will, all the talk about Katrina and this is our home crap, yea thanks for selling AK's under the table.

first season...the secret squirrel squad guy. If I remember correctly they mounted 2 "m-16s" on the roof of a tahoe and made it controllable by a ps3 controller.
